The responsibilities of the Department is to run smoothly the Mayor\u2019s office and the office of the Secretary of the Municipality, record and execute incoming and outgoing correspondence, keep the central archives of the Municipality and manage the official correspondence of the Municipality. In addition, the Department handles all matters of the permanent and temporary workforce, including the implementation of the provisions of the Collective Agreement between the Municipality and the Trade Unions. The department is in charge of assessing staff training needsand planning and delivering training courses based on the available funds of the Municipality.<\/p><p>This Department has also the responsibility to plan and hold all meetings of the Municipal Committees, the Municipal Council and the Procurement Committee. It makes arrangements for the implementation of decisions by the competent Departments of the Municipality.<\/p><p>Finally, the Department is in charge of the Office of Suggestions and Complaints made by phone, the Civil Marriage Office, the Youth, Sports and Social Providence Office and the Europe Direct Office.
