The project involves the conversion and upgrading of the Larnaca Community Center<\/strong> into a Multipurpose Social Welfare and Employment Center<\/strong>. The works included the demolition of the existing swimming pool and construction of a new building in its place<\/strong>, the upgrading of the main building<\/strong>, the enhancement of the sports field<\/strong>, and the transformation of the outdoor area into a youth activity space<\/strong>.<\/p>

The facility provides educational and creative activity spaces for socially vulnerable groups<\/strong>. It is used by the Larnaca Municipality Open School<\/strong> and includes an event hall<\/strong>, art, theater, computer, gym and dance, and music workshops<\/strong>, Greek and Turkish language learning rooms<\/strong>, as well as a social clinic and pharmacy<\/strong>.<\/p>

Additionally, the indoor multipurpose sports hall<\/strong> has been refurbished and is open to the public as part of the Cyprus Sports Organization (KOA) \u201cSports for All\u201d program<\/strong>. The sports field is also available for theatrical and\/or musical performances<\/strong>, school or private events, and cultural activities for various communities<\/strong>. The outdoor area includes tennis and basketball courts<\/strong>.<\/p>

The project was completed in December 2021<\/strong> with a total eligible budget of \u20ac4.2 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
