Road Redevelopment and Accessibility Improvements for People with Disabilities in Central Larnaka<\/h6><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The project concerns the redevelopment of central streets in the core of Larnaca<\/strong> and aims to ensure the smooth and safe movement of pedestrians and vehicles<\/strong>, while providing the necessary facilities for people with disabilities (PWDs)<\/strong>. The construction included:<\/p>

  • Kebir Mosque Square<\/strong>, located opposite the Medieval Castle<\/strong>, and parts of Touran, Ankara, Hadji Ibrahim, Said Mehmet Aga, Tanzimat, and Piyale Pasha Streets<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li>

  • Agios Lazaros Street<\/strong>, near the church, extending northwest.<\/p><\/li>

  • Armenian Church Street, Kordigtounos Street<\/strong>, and parts of Ermou and Vasileos Evagorou Streets<\/strong>, which are the northernmost streets.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    The project was completed in December 2021<\/strong> with a total eligible budget of \u20ac3.3 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
