Construction of the New Larnaca Municipal Market
The project involves the construction of a new Municipal Market in the urban center of Larnaca, along with a landscaped open area capable of hosting an outdoor market. The ground floor houses 20 shops, offering products typical of traditional municipal markets, such as fresh produce, nuts, cold cuts, dairy products, local handicrafts, and traditional beverages.
In addition, a landscaped open area was created, hosting an outdoor retail market (bazaar). The mezzanine floor accommodates dining areas as well as a specially designed exhibition space. The roof of the building has been developed as a green space.
The entire project also includes the required parking facilities for employees in a separate three-level building.
The project was completed in January 2023 with a total eligible budget of €6.3 million.
