The project concerns the redevelopment of central streets in the core of Larnaca and aims to ensure the smooth and safe movement of pedestrians and vehicles, while providing the necessary facilities for people with disabilities (PWDs). The construction included:

  • Kebir Mosque Square, located opposite the Medieval Castle, and parts of Touran, Ankara, Hadji Ibrahim, Said Mehmet Aga, Tanzimat, and Piyale Pasha Streets.

  • Agios Lazaros Street, near the church, extending northwest.

  • Armenian Church Street, Kordigtounos Street, and parts of Ermou and Vasileos Evagorou Streets, which are the northernmost streets.

The project was completed in December 2021 with a total eligible budget of €3.3 million.
