The Municipality of Larnaka actively promotes recycling and environmental protection through the operation of its Temporary Green Point. This facility plays a key role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents while supporting the Municipality’s ongoing efforts to achieve recycling and separate waste collection targets.
At the Green Point, residents can bring a variety of materials, including household recyclables and other accepted items, listed below:
There is no charge for materials originating from households.
Please note that materials from commercial activities, contractors, industries, or other professional entities cannot be accepted.

The Temporary Green Point is located on Vasilis Michailidis Street (opposite the Agios Lazaros Technical School).

For residents who are unable to transport their waste to the Green Point, the Municipality offers a collection service for a small fee. Residents can contact the Sanitation Department or the Gardens and Parks Department, or email [email protected] for assistance.

The Temporary Green Point is currently undergoing an upgrade. Once completed, it will become part of the network of Green Points managed by the Larnaka District Self-Government Organisation (E.O.A.L.).
