Multifunctional Park in Tsiakkileros

Brief Description / Objective:

The project involves the creation of a multifunctional park with green spaces, sports areas, a playground, walking and cycling paths, a dog park, and a small outdoor amphitheater. The aim of the project is to revitalize the urban environment and provide citizens with a space for strolling, exercise, and recreation.

Expected Benefits / Outcomes:

• The creation of a natural green lung in the city center, providing conditions for comfortable and safe pedestrian movement in a natural environment. This space will serve as a place for social gathering and dialogue among visitors, broader social groups, and especially youth, leading to the development of social relationships and activities.

• The reversal of the current state of the area through planned interventions, the improvement of its image and attractiveness, and its aesthetic and functional enhancement.

• The revitalization and upgrading of the urban environment.

• Providing elderly individuals and people with disabilities with the opportunity to move around in an easily accessible and pleasant environment without financial burden.

• The improvement of citizens’ quality of life.
