The Department of Green Areas is located in the building of the former Department of Agriculture, on Griva Dighenis avenue.
The Head of the Department is Mr Antonis Antoniou, who is in charge of the management of gardens and parks. The Department is responsible to clean, maintain and irrigate all municipal parks, median strips, flowerbeds, trees, roundabouts within the area of the municipality, as well as the Salt Lake Forest next to Pattichio Municipal Amphitheatre. The Department is also in charge of maintaining trees on walkways and building and maintaining playgrounds.
